About Chip Briquetting

CSI's NOVETEK briquetting system is the culmination of decades of experience in the metal chip processing industry. All components have been field tested in order to develop a superior chip briquetting system. Our briquetter systems are composed of stand-alone briquetters for as little as $40,000.00 to systems that include multiple components costing several million. The most common systems incorporate a tub dump chip processor, which utilizes a briquetting press in lieu of a chip wringer. Our larger systems include a chip wringer and a briquetter for optimum coolant removal. For those who wish to remelt briquettes, washing and drying of chips may be required. All continuous chip processing either briquetting or chip wringing require broken chips in order to operate successfully. If the chips are not broken and flowable they must be shredded prior to being fed to the briquetter or chip wringer. We are the only supplier of the patented #5,722,604 Wadbuster® that makes a difference between success and failure.
