Stand Alone Tub Dump

This is the simplest system but requires the chips to be free flowing and must not include tramp metal for the briquetter to operate satisfactorily. Chips may be manually fed to the briquetter or a forklift may be used to feed the metal chips directly to the briquetter. This type of briquetting system is well suited for small shops, which typically have smaller capacity requirements. However, the stand-alone briquetter can be used for large capacity shops if the material to be briquetted is broken and free flowing. The metal chips must not contain tramp metal. Commonly processed materials would be aluminum, steel, brass, copper, iron, stainless steel and titanium. Other metals would likely be a candidate for processing but should be tested prior to committing to specific designs.
