There are several types of conveyors that can be used for conveying the chips to a briquetter. The chip plow is the most common infloor horizontal conveyor. The single screw conveyor is the most desirable incline conveyor because of its simplicity and ease of maintenance. If a screw conveyor is used it is imperative the inclined screw conveyor be properly sized to reliably deliver the chip load to the Wadbuster®/shredder flow control. Because of the Wadbuster® shredder/flow control, CSI is the only company that can offer the "right size" feed screws required by metal chip briquetters or Chip wringers. Occasionally, chip conveyors other than the chip plow and screw conveyor are the right choice to satisfy a specific system requirement. We offer an extremely broad range of chip processing equipment as well as chip conveyors to satisfy the infeed to chip briquetters, chip wringers, washers, or dryers.
